Toronto Bridal Show // 11.04.14

This year I had the opportunity to attend the annual Toronto Bridal Show located at Direct Energy Centre with my older sister! I was expecting a larger venue and a bigger variety of booths, but they all seemed to be along the lines of DJ promotion, photographers and make-up artists. (Which is expected, I guess?) Overall, I had an enjoyable time and for the first time it made me think about my own wedding (which is far from now, haha). This is what I wore; (The weather is finally looking pleasant!)

OP: TRANSITION

Sorry guys, work and school will forever destroy my time, and if not, I'd like to spend majority of my free days with friends (: Fall is here but I'm still in the posy-summer mood. And since I don't want to change my entire closet (I'm not made of money) I decided to purchase a few pieces that will help me transition to that 'fall look'
Sweater weather is the best kind of weather! Lately I've been purchasing a lot of sweaters (which isn't good in the long run) but majority of them will either be thrifted or some H&M! Here's what I've collected so far!
 TOP: Floral sweater - Thrifted // Black & white - H&M //
Bottom: Black sweater - H&M // Light peach - H&M //
 3D Floral Mesh Jumper - Ebay // "Christmas" theme'd cropped sweater - Forever 21 //
Here's how I wore one of them :) Many more updates soon! Have a great long weekend my dear Canadian friends and Happy Thanks Giving!

REVIEW: Portobello Restaurant & Bar

I went out for dinner with a friend at Portobello Restaurant & Bar a few weeks back since there was a Groupon for it! When I first saw the restaurant outside I wasn't pleased with the display, however the inside interior makes up for it!
- 995 Bay Street - Toronto -
There was only one person serving food that evening and it was the chief, so I assume this small restaurant is independently owned? The server was very nice and I can tell her took his time to create and serve our food.

Salmon with fruits as the first course meal. The proportions were small but suitable since we were eating a 4 course meal.
2nd course meal: Soup of the day
To be honest, the soup didn't look very appetizing but it ended being one of my favourite meals! It was very creamy and it had just the right blend!
3rd course meal: I ended up picking the "Lobster Ravioli stuffed with Lobster in rose sauce" (on the left)
The proportions were WAY to small, and I was still hungry after. I wasn't satisfied with the main dish! Although it was delicious, I couldn't taste the lobster in the ravioli and there was only around 5-8 stuffed ravioli.
Last but not least; the 4th course was dessert. We both ordered Tiramisu. The texture was too wet for my liking, I could tell it was made days before and left in the freezer and deforested which resulted in the wet texture.

Overall, I don't think I would go back to this restaurant. The atmosphere was nice and the server was amazing. But the proportions were not as good as I thought it'd be.
Enjoy :) !

OP: Black && White

Excuse me for being MIA for abit. The first week of third year was very successful! I'm so happy to see my friends again and meeting new people. I have many plans for this up coming year, and I have a good vibe that it'll be one of the best years in uni! I'm so excited to do well this school term :)
------------------------------------------------------
My delayed outfit post. I recently became obsessed with this white top with butterfly cut out at the end. It's simple yet very unique. Not only does it look good, it was also only $10 ! You can never go wrong with pairing black and white together, and while my friends and I were shopping, I added the hat to my outfit and it finally looks complete!
Outfit: Hat - H&M // Cross necklaces - ALDO // White shirt - Forever 21 // Tights - Forever 21 // Shoes - Nine West // Gold Cuff - Forever 21 //

Enjoy! :)
I have way more to update you guys on. Life has been hectic but entertaining and enjoyable :) I'm always up early on the go, but I don't mind it since I accomplish so much within a day.

B-DAY GIFT && HAUL

Last month I hardly spent any money on anything besides food. I think this month I should treat myself to a few more items and start saving on all those food costs! My birthday recently passed and here are some gifts I have received from some very special people :)
I went home on my birthday and spent majority of my day at home with my family. I later went out to grab some patio drinks with a few of my girlfriends.
After coming home, I received a belated gift from my two amazing roommates! Here's what they got me :)

I haven't used the nail kit yet, but it looks adorable! Their card was really silly and cute! And the Juicy Couture perfume smells great, Im not too fond of the lipgloss though!
My best friend recently came to visit me and I found these amazing gifts on my bed after work! :) A brow kit (perfect since I actually needed one!) and a souvenir cup from Vancouver !

Lately, I've been becoming obsessed with prints on my clothing, particularly floral that looks like sketches. In mainly blue and white. You'll know what I mean when you see what I purchased! Majority of the items I bought are from Forever 21, they had an extra 30% off on sale items!

 H&M Floral Shorts - $12.95 CAD

 Forever 21

 Forever 21

This is actually my first purchase from Artitiza !
I am in love with anything matcha/green tea related! These delicious asian treats definitely satisfies my tastebuds ! Pocky and Kitkat!
Enjoy ! :)
