OUTFIT: BLACK & WHITE

It's currently exam season. (what am I doing on here?) I decided to wear this to my exam the other day. Who knew my rushed outfit turned into something I'm lovin' right now? Inspired by the New Yorkers, I finally purchased a pair of Nike's. I've been on a hunt for two months now looking for the perfect pair, which still hasn't been found. These will do for now, purchased for $55 at JC Penny, not a bad deal considering I was going to purchase a similar pair for $110. Black and White is definitely one of the best combo's, you can't go wrong with it! Not only does my cap keep my bangs in place, these runners are also super comfy! You can always be stylish and be comfy at the same time while studying.
Enjoy !

TRAVEL: METROPOLITAN MUSEUM (NYC)

Last month my roommate and I planned a spontaneous trip to New York City for the first time! We left class early and caught the night bus from Toronto to New York. It was such a struggle to get to our destination due to a unexpected snow storm which delayed our trip almost an entire day, which is ok because we made up for it!
Here's a collage of all the main destinations we photographed. Majority of the photo's were taken using my iPhone 4. Enjoy !
We spent a good chunk of our time at the Metropolitan Museum, which is HUGE ! Definitely the best museum I have ever been to, the art work was amazing.

Toronto Bridal Show // 11.04.14

This year I had the opportunity to attend the annual Toronto Bridal Show located at Direct Energy Centre with my older sister! I was expecting a larger venue and a bigger variety of booths, but they all seemed to be along the lines of DJ promotion, photographers and make-up artists. (Which is expected, I guess?) Overall, I had an enjoyable time and for the first time it made me think about my own wedding (which is far from now, haha). This is what I wore; (The weather is finally looking pleasant!)

ESPRIT

Being a previous employer at ESPRIT, it is natural for me to occasionally check out the latest collection. Although their physical store is not available in North America anymore, I still like to update myself on their latest collections. You can still purchase their brand through The Bay, however I believe their online website for shipping to North America also close down.
[Photos all credited towards ESPRIT 'Travel in Style' Post]

I personally think the ESPRIT brand is more on the business casual, modern and simple sophisticated look where nothing is every cluttered. There is definitely a European-style feel towards these photographs! Here's my pick from the European website! I noticed that they don't offer an E-Shop for many countries.

MONTREAL 2O13 [PART ONE]

Bonjour ! Two weekends ago I went on a school club trip to Montreal! It's been an annual tradition for me to attend this trip yearly. This time I devoted my weekend on exploring Montreal and integrating myself to the culture. Unlike Toronto, Montreal definitely has more of a European feel and it always trips me out when I see French signs everywhere! Here's a re-cap of my weekend!
We stayed at the Holiday Inn right next beside China Town and very close to Old Montreal!

Outfit: Parka Jacket - Canada Goose // Scarf - H&M // Skirt - Siren's // Shoes - Forever 21 //

TEA TIME

[17.10.13] Tea Time Adventures; this is what I decided to wear today!
Outfit: Sweater - H&M // Cardigan - Forever 21 // Skirt - DIY // Shoes - Forever 21 //

Ruelo Patisserie - YONGE & EGLINTON, 4-6 ERSKINE AVE.
Upon arrival, we had already called in for reservations. Luckily the cafe was really empty. The atmosphere was peaceful and a great place to have catch up time with your girl friend! There was only one worker in the store multitasking.
We found this deal ($27.80+tax for two people) on Groupon and decided to give it a shot!

We received a platter of different variety of desserts. The top consists of carrot cake, macaroons, creme brule, and matcha sponge cake.
The other two layers consists of bread, and a variety of goodies topped with salmon (absolutely delicious!)

Served with your choice of tea or coffee. I chose Kusmi Tea: Almond Green Tea.
